— Embrace the Detours —
Refuse the well-worn trail — in the wilderness and in life. Adventure isn't a destination. It's a way of being.
What I Believe
Most people take the well-worn trail. It's safe, it's predictable, and it leads exactly where everyone else has already been. I'm not most people.
Uncommon Paths is my philosophy and my lens — literally. It's how I move through the world and how I capture it. Every photograph is a reminder that the detour is almost always the better story.
The Photography
I photograph the places most people drive past — the unmarked pullouts, the trails that don't have a hashtag, the light that only shows up if you're willing to wait.
My work is about slowing down enough to see what's actually there. The wilderness doesn't perform for you — you have to earn the shot.
MY Pillars
The best views come from the hardest climbs. Growth lives just outside the familiar.
The unplanned route is almost always the better one. Trust the wrong turn.
Slow down. The light, the moment, the detail — they're there for those who look.
Discomfort is the tuition for transformation. That's where real change happens.
The Philosophy
Uncommon Paths isn't a brand or a movement — it's a way of seeing. It's the belief that the unplanned moment, the wrong turn, the extra mile nobody else takes — that's where life actually happens.
— Your Path Awaits —
Stop waiting for the right moment. The trail is already there. Take the first step.
